Wet Wavy Braided Wigs

A wet & wavy braided wig is a wig that combines braids with hair that has a dual texture. When dry, the hair has a loose, natural wave pattern. When wet, or when a moisturizing product is applied, the hair's wave pattern transforms into a more defined, tighter curl. This gives you two distinct styles in one wig, blending the look of braids with either soft waves or full curls.

A body wave wig has a consistent, loose "S" shaped wave pattern that remains the same whether it's wet or dry. A wet & wavy wig, on the other hand, has a unique texture that changes when exposed to water. The dry hair is wavy, but the wet hair becomes distinctly curly.

To activate the curls, simply mist the wavy sections of the wig with a spray bottle of water. For a more defined and lasting curl, you can use a water-based leave-in conditioner or a curl-defining mousse while the hair is wet. Gently scrunch the hair with your hands and let it air dry.

Washing: Use a sulfate-free shampoo and lukewarm water. Gently dip the wig and use your fingers to clean, avoiding scrubbing.

Detangling: Only detangle the hair when it's wet and has conditioner in it. Use a wide-tooth comb or your fingers, starting from the ends and moving up to the roots.

Moisturizing: Use a lightweight, water-based leave-in conditioner. Avoid heavy oils or creams, as they can weigh down the hair and cause a lot of frizz.

The wavy style will last as long as the hair remains dry. Once you mist it with water or get it wet, it will transform into a curly state. The curls will remain defined as long as the hair is moisturized and protected. Once it dries out, it will revert back to its original wavy texture.
